- manufacture vehicle frames, chassis and superstructures.
- manufacture components such as profiles, plates and sheets according to sketches and drawings.
- weld, rivet, glue or screw components.
- relocate and install hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical or electronic systems such as brakes or tail lifts.
Duration of training: 3½ years
Start of training: August
Education is a priority.
| Vocational School
The training takes place 3 days a week at SPIER. You will complete the remaining 2 days at the Berufskolleg Kreis Höxter in Brakel. The bus and train connections are running smoothly here. Anyone who shines through special achievements in the vocational school as well as in practice gets the chance to shorten their apprenticeship by half a year to 3 years.

The medium-sized companies based in the Business Location Region plus X are reliable employers who don't think and plan in quarters, but in the long term. This gives employees enough space and security to develop professionally and personally.
Many small and inexpensive apartments can be found in the nearby towns of Steinheim and Nieheim. The region has a sophisticated train and bus network, so you can get to work or go shopping quickly even without a car.

After a good apprenticeship, we offer you continued employment and enable you to pursue a successful career.
After the training, you can also expand your knowledge through specific courses or complete further training to become a master craftsman, technician or engineer.

| HOW BEST TO APPLY?
Apply approx. one year before the start of training, preferably before the summer holidays. You are welcome to send us the school report for the penultimate class.
Your application has the best chance if we receive it by end of October at the latest.
